Welcome to the Dolphin Terrace Elementary Student Ambassador Program!

We are excited to welcome you to the Dolphin Terrace Elementary Student Ambassador Program! This program is designed to strengthen our school community by improving social awareness and supporting new students as they transition into our school.

As a Student Ambassador, you play an important role in helping others feel welcomed, valued, and connected.

Our Mission

The Elementary Student Ambassador Program focuses on:

  • Increasing awareness of the unique challenges new and military-connected students may face

  • Supporting smooth school transitions

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture

  • Encouraging leadership and peer support

As a Student Ambassador, you will:

Welcome & Support New Students

  • Greet new students and help them feel comfortable

  • Assist with learning school routines and procedures

  • Help them “fit in” and make new friends

Share Important Information

  • Provide helpful information about school rules, schedules, and activities

  • Answer questions and guide students to the right resources

Promote Positive School Culture

  • Model respect, honesty, responsibility, and hard work

  • Encourage kindness and inclusion

  • Serve as a peer leader in the classroom and throughout the school

Develop Leadership Skills

  • Practice communication and teamwork

  • Build confidence and responsibility

  • Apply newly learned skills throughout the school year

This program is part of the curriculum for students in grades 3–5 and is supported by faculty guidance. Through structured activities and leadership opportunities, ambassadors grow as role models and advocates for their peers.
