Ramona STEM Academy recently invited kindergarten through fifth-grade students to participate in a vibrant celebration of 16 de Septiembre, a significant date that marks Mexico's independence. Students showcased their cultural pride on this special day by dressing in traditional Mexican attire, including colorful folklórico dresses and mariachi outfits. The hallways were filled with the lively sounds of music and laughter as students learned about their heritage and the importance of this celebration. This event not only highlighted the beauty of Mexican culture but also fostered a sense of community and appreciation for diversity among the students, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
