Celebrating Reading at the Literacy Parade
The Annual School Literacy Parade is a special event where students can showcase their love for reading by dressing up as their favorite book characters. This year's parade featured a fantastic array of costumes, highlighting the creativity of both students and parents who created custom-made outfits. One of the highlights was a costume inspired by the beloved book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," which captured the imagination of many. The parade could not have happened without the hard work of Mrs. Corralejo, our dedicated librarian, who organized the event, and the support from our volunteer judges from EPCC and Freeport. This celebration not only encourages reading but also fosters a sense of community and joy among students, parents, and teachers alike.
