Celebrating Innovation at Ramona STEM Academy

Today, Ramona STEM Academy hosted its annual STEM Showcase, an event designed to highlight the incredible work of students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Parents and community members gathered to witness a variety of presentations, where young learners showcased the STEM activities they engaged in using the engineering process. Each presenter took on roles ranging from safety inspector to materials manager, demonstrating not only their projects but also the collaborative planning, building, and rigorous testing phases that went into each creation. As they answered questions from visitors, students illustrated their journey through design challenges, emphasizing the importance of retesting and refining their projects to achieve successful outcomes. This event not only celebrated the students' achievements but also fostered a sense of community and support for STEM education.
